Meet Fat Betty
"She Thought She Could, so She did" This is me.
I am Fat Betty. With the help of an internet website, a phone app, support from family and friends, and finally some damn determination- I have decided to change my life. I am embarking on a Lifestyle Change, not simply going on a a diet. Because for me- diets don't work. Starting at a weight 325 on 1/21/13, currently weighing 304. 2 on 2/23/13, at 298. 2 on 3/1/13 and hoping to be below 200 when I'm all set and done--- Right now I am at around 240 Lbs on August 27th 2013. Starting out with a goal of 1,730 calories daily and now going with a goal of 1,580 as of 3/1/13 and now 1,400 as of 8/27/13. I’m here to share my story. The things I find, the stuff I cook, the recipes I retrofit, and the trials and tribulations along the way. The shortcuts, the loss, the non scale victories, the breakdowns, and the tantrums. I’m not perfect and I don’t claim to be. I’m not a dietitian nor am I a Nutritionist. But I’m learning how to eat better, and more specifically stay within a reasonable calorie range .[11,400 to be exact] Check my Diary to see if I make it. I don’t have fancy equipment, I deal with basic stuff, and I don’t have a ton of money. But I do love to cook, invent new things, and eat the way I always have - without all the calories of course. This Blog/Website will not be perfect. I've never really made a website, or ever really blogged. But I like to update my Facebook LOL :) It's really more about my Trials and Errors- and the main focus is on My Meals and how they got on my plate. Enjoy, Critique, Browse, or not.
